A NEW WAY TO WORK, LIVE, RELAX

The IQuarters office campus is an innovative business environment where work, leisure and relaxation combine seamlessly. A broad array of on-site facilities is provided, including restaurants, bars, meeting rooms and other amenities. Annual networking events, monthly newsletters and an active IQuarters community bring every user a work experience that goes above and beyond the standard.

IQuarters is short for Innovation Quarters, a bright place where sustainable office accommodation is designed to help companies achieve their objectives.

The best of all worlds

IQuarters is located on the South side of the Amstel III office district. This area, opposite a Amsterdam VUmc hospital is currently being transformed. Construction has already begun on 1,600 apartments and between the buildings, a beautiful communal park will be created. Various public facilities will also complement the area, such as bars, restaurants, a supermarket and a gym.

The location offers great road connections, with direct access to the A2, A9 and A10 motorways. Amsterdam’s world-renowned Schiphol Airport is just 15 minutes away. Public transport connections are excellent with Holendrecht metro, bus and train station within easy walking distance.

ACCESSIBILITY

Car

Visitors can park in or around the IQuarters. Please note that visitors should be registered with the company they are meeting. Registration is possible at the entrance of each building via an intercom, and reception can open the gates. Tenants and their employees will have a parking pass, giving them access to assigned parking spaces.

Bike

It’s possible to park your bike at IQuarters without a reservation. Bike storage is available at designated spaces in the parking lots. At the AHTC, just cycle down to the entrance of the parking garage. The cyclist gate can be opened via a black button at the door. A bicycle parking shed is provided, and if you wish to safely park a racing bike, simply report to the AHTC reception. Please note, no bicycles are allowed inside the office buildings.

Public transport

All public transport stops at Holendrecht metro, train and bus station.

Coming from the Amsterdam direction:

– Metro lines 50 or 54 to Gein

– Train to Rhenen at Amsterdam Central Station

– Buses 41 or 47

 

Coming from the Utrecht direction:

– Train to Uitgeest at Utrecht Central Station

– Bus 120

 

Coming from the Rotterdam direction:

– Train to Uitgeest at Rotterdam Central Station

BUILDINGS

IQuarters is comprised of ten buildings, all set within a landscaped environment that’s enriched with water elements, public walkways and green parks. The buildings vary in size, each with its own identity and unique facilities. All buildings are named after female Nobel Prize winners in Physiology or Medicine whose work changed the world.

This is the IQuarters’ main hub – a 30,000 sqm former bank building, which has been transformed from single-tenant to multi-tenant use. Along with the building’s new purpose came a new name, the Ada Health & Technology Center (AHTC). It features an impressive glass façade, two small atria and an event hall. The AHTC serves tenants that are active in the health technology and life sciences industry.

DOROTHY

Paasheuvelweg 9

Dorothy is one of the more recent additions to the IQuarters. Originally named AquaPlaza, due to its waterfront location, this building was renamed Dorothy. Access is via a bridge, which crosses the water and leads into a spacious forecourt. An attractive façade and floor to ceiling windows make this an unmissable part of the campus.

ELISABETH

Paalbergweg 26-36

Elisabeth is the latest addition to IQuarters. In 2023, a thorough renovation will convert it into a laboratory and office building. A new glass atrium will be added, and the ground floor will have a new entrance with reception desk. The topfloor of the building will have a board room and rooftop terrace.

MARIE

Paalbergweg 1-3

Marie is the third largest IQuarters building. It has been completely renovated in 2020, where got a new façade and a glass entrances. Each floor has new LED lighting and ceilings, while all technical installations will be renewed and/or updated. The energy rating will increase to level A+.

FRANCES

Pietersbergweg 273-295

Frances is a multi-tenant building located in the center of the IQuarters campus. Previously called De Poort due to its layout (two wings divided by a glass staircase), this building was renamed Frances. Access is via a bridge, which traverses the water to meet a spacious forecourt. A traditional red brick façade lends this building an added elegance.

CAROL

Pietersbergweg 199

Carol has been transformed from a single-tenant to a multi-tenant building in 2020. Well suited to the needs of businesses with spatial requirements of approximately 170 – 340 sqm, it houses start-up and scale-up companies. The ground floor offers a communal area where tenants can relax and eat together.

ROSALYN

Rosalyn is the second largest IQuarters building. It underwent a complete renovation in 2019. This massive transformation included the addition of a new glass atrium, new LED lighting and new ceilings on all floors. All technical installations have also been renewed and/or updated, and the energy rating has increased to level A.

ABOUT IQUARTERS
